Foggy Path

Taken earlier this week, down by the river Ouse in York. I was hoping for dense fog, but it thinned out the closer I got to the centre.

Liking this Andy, the dark area's bring a kind of intrigue to the image....gives me a feeling of a still from a murder mystery film

Liking this a lot. Intensely atmospheric shot. At first, I was tempted to say there was too much empty space to the right, but I think it wouldn't work anywhere near as well without it.

Thanks Martyn, gramps and Steve. I did crop some dark area from the original (3:2) version, as it had way too much of it. I think this just about copes with it.

Nice shot Andy you have captured the atmosphere here perfectly but I think Mark nailed it when he mentioned the figure in the raincoat it would have made it a killer shot.
