Decided at the last minute to go for a walk at our local(ish) country park. It was grey, overcast and approaching dusk. Very few people were out and it was really peaceful.
On the return leg back to our car, I spied this little robin in the trees near to us. I stopped the wife and pointed him out to her as she loves these little guys. No sooner had I done so, than he hopped onto the fence within a couple of feet of us and just stood there looking at us. We felt so bad because he was obviously hoping we'd got some food for him and all I was doing was taking his picture.
Anyway, hope you enjoy the images.

Thanks for looking. (y)

Beautiful shots, they are such lovely birds
Thanks for sharing
Thanks. This little guy was in pristine condition.
I think next time I go up there I'll take a pocket full of bird seed.

Great set, lovely bird ;)

great capture of a really nice specimen and good PP in Lightroom may I add.
Thank you. I have to be honest and say that I used the AI noise reduction as the ISO was very high in that light.
