gentle pointers?

hi,

just recently started translating my passion into a possible business and would obviously like to perfect the craft as much as possible before putting myself out there!
want to focus on dog photography and here's one pic as a starter... probably be loading a few more shortly!
any gentle pointers greatly appreciated!

Hi!

Welcome to TP, I have had a peek at some of your pics and I must say I reaaly like the portrait shots that you have grouped as 'favorites' some crackers! I would say that some of the others have lost some detail in the white fur by being a little over exposed.

Look forward to seeing you post some more!

There are a lot of blown highlights in the tilly and tess set, and some of the backgrounds look fairly cluttered, although looking at the EXIF there's not a great deal you could've done, I'm assuming you were at the lowest aperture possible?

They're a good starting point though, and some of the poses are excellent!
