Ghostly Mist at Lechlade-on-Thames

This is my first upload to the TP forums. I snapped this on a recent early morning outing with 2 friends and local photographers at Lechlade-on-Thames. The mist was so thick that it scuppered our plans to shoot the round house and I also couldn't quite get the church. Luckily, this flock of swans glided across the Thames just as the sun was rising above the horizon and starting to burn away the mist.

Very nice and at least you came away with something quite often like me yesterday morning all there was was fog, no light and no inspiration either!

Very pretty.
The jumble of swans really make this shot.

I think it's the crispness of the swan reflection that adds to this, the sunrise and mist makes a nice background

Nice shot, you made the very best of the light and mist to get a lovely image.

Did you try a different crop? Although the sky has lovely tones there is a lot of it:) I wonder if a square with less sky and a little less foreground would look good? Just a thought.
