Yes
Ten from Gloucester Rugby vs. Bristol, yesterday evening in Glos. A fresh night alright - and a ding dong performance from Glos. More on my blog if you so wish to read it. Oh and some try pix to please that bloke who posts a lot. His name escapes me.

Number 4, spot the one who looks like Gordon Ramsey :D

Good set of photos mate.

Do like number 7 (and the rest of the lot ain't bad either !!)
2 is interesting... possibly not one you got published, but still

Oh, and did you survive the cold weather without freezing yourself?

Went alright, the shot at 2 has been used by a website so no worries there.

It was not too bad in the end, rain warmed things up a bit so I managed OK. Still very fresh however.

Number 2 is my favourite. Very good timing. (y) With number 5 next as a good sportrait. The rest are up to your usual high quality. Cant get over how you manage to get the players to 'pop' out of the photos. Is it the lighting, lens/camera combo, post processing, c'mon tell us how you do it.:D
I'm impressed.

Cheers Pete, being a Canon shooter thinking of making the move over to the dark side that was a superb insight.

PS, you dont wanna trade your gear for mine do ya, i do tons of low light stuff and from what ive seen the D3 blows my MKIII away under lights.

Quite happy with it at the moment mate, but cant wait for the new 50mm F/1.4.....

The shots in this thread are testament to the D3 however, when you consider I dropped the ISO to 3200 and got these......
