Having spent too much time in the macro forum I have decide to venture elsewhere to try and get the macro spark back.

#1/2 I can't decide which I like best so if you could please help it would be appreciated.

I like the backlight bryn, but maybe use a flash to light up the rose just a <little> to give it a nice soft light look, seems a bit underexposed to the sun light, but its great to see you venturing out to other types of photography

I like the composition too, just a little more foreground light or perhaps push up the shadows slider
