Not a bad effort You have caught the action nicely...all I could bring up is the framing of a couple of them!

Pretty good, if this was your first time shooting the game...

Few comments... 1 and 4 have the players 'in action' with their back towards you. That doesn't work in most situations
2 and 3 are nice 'sportrait' images as is number 7
Number 5 is my fav of the lot.. well captured and I like the shadow of the goalie in teh grass. Nice!!

So def. a very good start to shooting footy, so looking forward to seeing some more images in the future!

Number 5 is a great shot - Made me smile seeing the goalie in position. They're all sharp and nice to see some action and the ball in them.

Some good shots here but it proves one thing that Football shots without the ball in shot are pretty boring

thanks for all the comments, how would i go about improving? what sort of settings should i be using? i had it on centre focus for part of the match then used the 9 point focus for the rest to see if it was any easier, lol.

Whats with the colours on some of them? They look wrong.

I haven't been to Gresley for years, I used to love my trips there. Did you pay to get in or were you in someone's back garden looking over the wall??

Paid to get in cost me £6 I will always pay to get in Gresley as they need the money to keep going.
