i was after a 16-35mm f4 and Clifton today are offering 10% extra off plus the Canon cash back as posted in another thread.

But they also will sell you either a 2x or 1.4x mark iii extender for 164 as part of the package.

So after cashback a brand new 16-35mm f4 IS plus mark 3 1.4x ext will cost me £877!
 
Wilkinson Cameras had the extenders at half price with a variety of lenses - even the humble 50mm 1.8 - but unsurprisingly have quickly run out of stock :-(
 
my extender and lens arrived today which is a result - seeing as early indication was mid feb for the extenders.
 
You were obviously one of the lucky ones whose order was covered by the limited stock they go in this week (see other thread).
