Hi

I have a Canon 50D and would like to plug it into a TV screen when taking images at a party soon.

It has a mini HDMI output port so presumably I can just run a cable from this to the HDMI port on the TV and display the images?

Thanks

You're going to stand by the TV and take pictures of people standing by the TV, so they can see them on the TV?

Yep that should work fine as long as you get the right sized ends for Camera and TV
TV has HDMI in ?
Playing back images later for people to view is a great idea, nowt like the big screen :D

Cheers guys, they sell 5m ones and the camera will be on a tripod for static pictures to begin with then I will just remove the cable when using off the tripod and reconnect later to display images.
