Yes
Something a little different to the local Hawks. The visibility was poor but it was a pleasure to be this close to these large aircraft.

1. C-17 short finals (I actually stepped back a few paces at this point). The civilian aircraft in the background is the daily Linksair service to/from Cardiff

2. Tyre smoke.

4 is lovely :) how come they only used the reverse thrust on the inner engines?

Something you don't see everyday, and nice detailed shots as well. Hercules seems a little small up against the C-17.

Nice shots. Bet they sounded awesome.

The C17 especially!

good captures as usual

Thanks!

My guess would be due to the fact that the aircraft was on quite a narrow taxyway, with the outboards overhanging the grassed area. I suppose that using the outboards could kick up a fair amount of FOD.

Cheers! You're right, the Hercules was dwarfed by the C17!
