HELP! Stuck hood

I just back from my hols and dropped my 70-200 Sigma out the back. It only fell 2foot max and all is good EXCEPT the hood and extension tube are now jammed on the end of the lens.

Any ideas how to get it off?
 
Patients and a bit of force will do it !, happened to me on an old lens I had, managed to get the hood off with no damage to lens or hood :)
 
Hoods aren't that pricey if you break it, but have you tried the lens, it may appear ok, but there could be internal
problems, mine did when the same thing happened :(
 
A picture would have helped on this one! It's too hard suggest on a loose description. I remember I had old manual, steel extension tubes that go jammed onto the lens mount of my D90. Ended up having to jimmy them off with a screw driver, wasn't pretty, but did the job.
 
Too late Keith. As I said above, I pulled the whole front of the lens off.
Its now at Sigma being repaired :crying:
