Critique Henna Tattoos

Are they real tattoo's graham or those gloves you see ladies wear? Thats pretty crazy tattooing if they're real. I like them (both the tattoos and the photos) though am not sure how to critique these as they are hand shots, sorry :)
 
Nice images. In some Asian cultures ladies pattern their hands with symbolic patterns for weddings and other religious festivals. They are henna, not permanent tattoos, so wash off eventually.

I think I'd have got in closer, personally, but I like the use of the woman's clothing as a background to give the images context.

Yes, this was a bride at an Asian wedding I went to yesterday. They were really quick shots so no time for playing with composition. I do like the hands against the dress and I'm not sure how much closer I could have taken them without them just being a close up of a tattoo then...
