Was it announced somewhere? Its not been here long. Maybe in the 'talk forum' forum, where not many venture.
Anyway Ive learnt something already from the "sharp" pictures thread. Would never have thought of focus stacking a landscape. (y)

OK DorsetDude - here's one taken this very morning in your very own county ...

Now I'm very much a beginner at this and have just read the other thread which essentially says I should have used a wider aperture and lower ISO ... and therefore faster shutter speed.

To save you having to look at the EXIF : Canon 550D, Sigma 8-16mm set to 16mm, 1/250 at f/16 and ISO400, eval metering, auto WB, AF. This is out of camera (also have the RAW image).

Oooh, hello! This is my type of subforum!

Maybe the more landscape posts from "Nature" could be moved here if the mods get a chance?
