My first time at such an event. Unfortunately rope fencing prevented me from getting the whole of the person in some of the shots. I have tried some mild processing on some of the shots.

Yes Sunday, My first ever time take shots at such an event. I didn't realise it would be so busy.

Like I said I'd never been to any sort of re-enactment event before but i was mightily impressed by the whole day. Good work by all involved.

I found the rope fence a particular pain (photography wise) as in a lot of my shots I could only get half the persons body in the frame without a bright white rope crossing the shot.

Yes, the crowd line was particularly bad there. There are always double ropes at re-enactments for safety, but they are not normally quite as white as that, and not normally three strands, either.
