Does anyone recognise the following … what type of horse it is?

I saw it some time ago wandering around "in the vines" in SW France …… probably a "pet" of one of our neighbours

I have never seen one like it before ……. it was semi-agressive

Weird looking creature, bit like a cross between a horse and a sheep, don't think I'd want to get too close :cautious:

Just looks like a standard shetland type pony with its winter coat. Shetlands can be quite aggressive. I always think of them as having the animal kingdoms version of small man syndrome.
 
That coat is a typical symptom of 'Cushings Disease', which may also result in the pony being quite grumpy.......

but frankly, I haven't got a clue, and despite the aggression, he/she is very cute, think I want one :D

Unfortunately, the better half is asleep otherwise she'd probably be able to tell you what it is but it doesn't look too healthy to me.
 
Definitely Cushings apparently. Also, had it been raining?
