Hyperspace

On my way through the Crab Nebula http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crab_Nebula I managed to get a photo of the 407370 coming out of hyperspace. The three Lorentian scout ships were just a bonus.

Weird, but I like it, am surprised the blue/black works so well against the red/orange but feel it does. How have you made this image?

Not even heard of 4D programme before, spending enough time getting to grips with PS so not going to attempt any more, still like it though

I never got to grips with photoshop, I still use a 15 year old copy of Paint Shop Pro.

That is very impressive I've not got a clue about this type of thing out of interest from generating the space craft and making the scene how long did it all take?

Hi Matt,

I have done dozens of takes on this scene so it just kept growing. I suppose to create the initial scene took around 30 hours but a lot of that was playing with textures and lighting. To animate the ships took another 10 hours or so.

Yes it is complicated but I get a lot out of it.
