looks like they just fell out :LOL::LOL:

chased this butterfly for around 40 mins to get just one shot, then he flew off

hand held, no flash ISO 400- f11 @ 1/100th sec- 105mm Sigma

Crackign shot and I love the title. The colours on the butterfly are so vibrant.

Is it a peacock butterfly?? I'm ignorant on butterflies. Just about recognise a cabbage white and maybe red admiral at a push!

I did have a flash- but as it was so sunny I decided agains using it as it adds so much weight to the macro set up and I was tramping through a very wild woodland :help:

May I ask, why you think a flash would improve this shot? :shrug:
