I'm watching you

Focus is spot on, but personally I'd prefer more dof. For me, the previous one had a stronger visual impact - I liked that one a lot. (I don't dislike this one - it is good - but I liked the previous one better.)

Like last time, I'm curious about ISO 400 (rather than ISO 100) with flash. Was that to raise the background? Similarly with 1/60 sec rather than (depending on your camera) ? 1/250 sec.
 
im struggling to get any more depth of field and get this sharp an image ill keep trying and will try iso 100 and 1/250 on my next spider shot and we will see what i get thanks for the input its a great help along my photographical journey
 
I like it, but I'm not as picky about DoF as Nick is ;) I prefer to see the subject larger in frame, especially if there isn't much interest with regards to environment, although I like the brickwork you can just make out. Good shot!
