Hello,
Headed down to Mallory Park today for the International Post TT Meet. Was my first time out with the 40d, and after a shakey start (at lunchtime I couldn't see what the fuss was about), I am very very impressed with the camera. It easily allowed me to achieve shots I would have struggled/found impossible on the 350d, and the overall layout and advanced features are starting to offer me something extra to.
Anyway, the photos! Comments and critique very much welcomed, the galleries will be appearing on meangasoline.co.uk shortly:
1) Head on panning:
2) Side on panning:
3) Close racing as you'd expect at a club meet:
4) New spot for me at Mallory, the bikes are very quick through here:
5) 125's:
6) Trying something different, opinions?:
7) ...and of course it wouldn't be bike racing without flames:
Thanks for looking! All shot with 40d and either 300mm f/4 L IS or 70 - 200 f/4 L
Tom
