I've not really seen many images of the mantis, and these are all great shots.

I wanted to comment though, on in the first couple of shots - how corny he looks - like he's just been watching some 70s martial arts films.

Makes me smile !

hah just noticed the expression in the middle shots - he IS an old kung fu master.. I'm sure of it.
