First post may as well kick it off with a lovely picture of my doggy.

Taken with D7000 & Sigma 28mm F/1.8.

Exif Data - 28mm - F/1.8 -ISO320 - 1/60.

CC welcome.

I'm not sure what you have done in the processing,
but it looks like it was shot through dirty glass.

It certainly doesn't do the dog justice I'm afraid.

Hey cobra the camera defiantly is dirty or is the lens, i have underexposed the image in places and added some grain and flares plus a tone curve.

I'm not saying that the camera is dirty or the lens,
just that is the sort of effect you get at zoo's shooting through dirty glass with the sun on it.
But now you have explained your processing technique, I can see how you ended up with that effect.

I'd be interested to see the image without the processing.
Just the basic levels and sharpen. :)

ill post it up in the morning cobra :)

I like the colour version! The little patch of lighter colour on his cheek comes out. (I'm just a beginner NikonKid so no cc from me as I'm trying to learn it all!) His expression reminds me of when I try to take photos of my dog - "not this carry on again"! :)
