Popped over to Jessops for a look at their "sale", found a customer return EN-EL3e battery in the "bargain" bin, took it over to get a price.....£55!! I pointed out that was more than most places charge for a new one and they reduced it.....to £40

Camera-wise D300 recon with 1 year warranty £799.20, D80 recon body £234.87, D40 + 18-55 recon kit £199.20, D90 + 18-105 £639.20

Not much in the way of lenses, 18-200 VR £360 and the 55-200 VR for I think, about £160.30, again both recon.

Limited stocks of all of the above.

When i was in on Sat they has a Sigma 100-300 f4 in Nikon fit, didnt catch the price as it was behind the desk on the wall shelf.

Why would a current model be "clearance stock"?

It's not like Jessops ever sell off "ex-demo" or display stock, they just sell it as new.

Anyway, all the Nikon stuff in the Sauchiehall St store has "Nikon Refurbished" labelling and a one year guarantee...

Wasn't sure if they did ex-demo or not but if it's a refurb then I would have thought £500 off be ok considering it has a one year guarantee - but then I wonder what the shutter count is? lol
