Like #2, really unusual and effective :)
 
They are both ver good and well seen. #1 is simple and effective. #2 is plain odd, looks like some horrible pincushion issue with the lens to begin with. Nice timing with the light balancing as well with the interior and ambient lighting not overwhelming each other.
 
Thanks Gramps and thanks Tobers, lens was a 135 prime and should be flat as a pancake. The building does actually look like that!
