I took these last year at Blair Drummond here in Scotland and I've processed this one shot in two completely different ways:





Any constructive critiscm is appreciated as I'm still learning may way around two new processing programs and my intuos wacom.
 
The second one works better for me because it looks more like a sketch and being reduced like you have with the black background makes it less harsh. The 1st is just way over done for my taste. Saying that though Im not a fan of the HDR in general but some are.
 
Second for me.
I am not a fan of HDR too, and I like b&w, but most of all I do not hate cages.

I love HDR photography, but I'm not keen on the colour version. I too like the b&w version.
 
Not overly keen on either. Any chance of a better processed colour version.
