Juvenile Starling....wow nice plummage

They're quite a colourful bird really........i notice this chap has been ringed.
 
Very tame and lovely little birds.

Great detail in the photo as well.
 
Agree it's an adult bird as there are no juvenile birds around yet, not until May normally. And yes they are very colourful birds and fun to watch, always bickering and arguing about something.
 
Thanks folks.... I will blame Di for the juvenile bit... I had no idea what it was... terrible huh? pleased with the capture, love the colours...

I had never thought of one as worth looking at tbh... never seen one up close before... Nature is a wonderful thing....
