Critique Kestrel obligingly allowing me to Practice HH

So I went out today to a very windy coastal location with bright blue but cloudy sky to practice HH with my new 500mm. Settings Spot Focus/Exposure f5.6 1/1600 auto ISO (100-2800)
Thanks for taking your time to look at my pictures - My thoughts are to use f8 for DOF and practice panning BIF to get a better focus
