A few days ago I went on a Kingfisher workshop ran by local wildlife photographer Alan Hewitt, to say the day was incredible would be an understatement. The only regret I have is that I didn't get any decent shots of them diving from the perches but hey ho what can you do, my poor technique rather than anything else! I'm happy as larry with the static shots though so all is well :)

Taken with 7dmk2 & 100-400L mk1 :)

Top shots. I'd be choosing whichever ones you like the best and have a couple framed and on view at home. Must say,I'm impressed with the quality of the Mk1. I let mine go a few months ago for the Mk11. No doubt the 7D11 played a part.

Superb set Nick!:clap::clap::clap::clap:. Number 3 is not the usual shot but makes it a winner in my book. Having said that I would be over the moon if any one of them had been taken by me.:)
