The Jackdoor always seems too formally dressed for the garden. Nothing else goes near them around the bird table and they certainly are nervous near the camera. Somewhat larger that the usual visitors!

The first one is definitely 'undertaker' or headmaster material. You wouldn't want to upset him.

They're all nice shots though. I like the expression on #2's face.

Apart from the background the last shot is very good ... ... nice and sharp on the eye ...

I was pleased to get a chance to fire off three shots as usually the lens is zoomed out for the little fellas and these are off at the slightest movement as I reach forward to adjust the focal length to get them in frame - hence the first two before i risked moving my hand towards the front of the camera - needless to say, it was off before i could take another frame! I may go in and doctor the background of the last one before printing.
