Lee .6 soft grad filter + holder & adaptor

I want to see if a grad filter will work for me for certain sports to balance out the sky to give the image more punch and more saleability as opposed to a washed out backdrop which is often the case. I think the .6 soft grad is the most appropriate and at 150mm long it can be adjusted to suit the size of the bright areas. My question is does anyone know if 3rd party holders and adaptors will be OK and if so which ones? I am looking at buying a 2nd hand filter and want to keep costs minimal hence my question of non Lee holders & adaptors.

Any help appreciated.

SRB Photographic do the kit your looking for rather than buy second hand just buy new from them from what I remeber I think you'd get what your looking for for about £50

Just the Lee filter is £75 at SRB. Do you mean an alternative brand?

Yeah a full SRB kit, holder, ring and filter I think it's £50 for the starter kit

I nearly bought one but though balls I'll go all out but they get good reviews
