Hi

I have just got a Canon 350D, and have a Sigma 18-125mm zoom & also a Sigma 50mm Macro DC lens.

I was wondering if anyone could receommend me any more?

I do love the take photos of flowers, bugs & my fish, which is why I got the macro.

What about a Sigma 70-300?? :thinking::thinking:

Confuzzled

Canon EF-S 55-250mm IS! I bought one for my 350d and its great!

Do you have a budget?

The Sigma 70-300 APO is a fairly good lens for the money - assuming your subject sits still!

What are you missing from your current lens's, and what will you use be using the new lens for ?

Hmmm budget about £150 max, wanting to take general landscape photos, almost holiday snaps lol :)

70-200 L F4.5 £250 any good to you?

Edit : Just saw your budget was £150 max.

Use your 18-125mm for a bit longer , save a bit more and buy a Tamron 17-50mm f2.8 a fast and sharp lens or you could get a tripod.

for fish I normally use my 105mm macro on an extension tube, if there's not a lot of room where I'm photographing I use a 50, f1.2 on extension tubes. Most useful thing I find is a good quality off camera flash gun used to light overhead on the tank
