Lens question from a newbie

Hi gang

Just bought a Canon D60 body only that is on it's way in the post, looking for a lens on eBay and have my eye on a Sigma DL 35-80mm zoom, 1:4 5.6 will this fit my body?

It's listed under Canon EOS lenses section but want to be sure

I'm confused how do you mean they don't do a D60 that's what I have bought from another member?

Actually they do... but you'd have to go back to 2002 or so.
Still useable I'd think, I can remember lusting after it's predecessor the D30 yes I know... sad b**st?rd that I am.

yup my D60 is circa 2002 and is my first DSLR camera so hopefully a good starter.

Bought the Sigma lens from eBay £16.50 delivered so even if it's the wrong one I haven't been stung too bad.

Got the lens today and it seems to work fine auto focus and everything, I am shooting like a mad man and the dog hates me...lol
