This was a last minute decision to attend Thruxton a while back.A great day was had socialising with friends, enjoying the sun and not enjoying the lack of choice in the Beer station :( But do not let that stop you from giving an honest opinion on a few shots.

Liking the first shot with the smoke and crowds in the background but would give a little more room to the left for the trucks to run into love that last pan superb

Thanks Gaz,you are probably right about the first one, there was the tail end of another truck just in the frame so I cropped as tight as possible.Perhaps it would have paid to leave it in the shot.I like the feel of the last one but was a little concerned about the back wing of the car not looking as sharp as the rest.Again perhaps it ties in well with the shot and is not looked upon as being so critical as stationary subjects.

Not enough ridiculous jaunty angles.

The last 2 show great panning skills and the busy backgrounds actually helps
The yellow truck needs silly angle applied
The Radical looks stationary
The two trucks show what truck racing is all about, unless you have seen, heard and smelt a truck race you have missed out.
Nice set that give a good feel for the action.

Hi lovely set of images would love to go truck racing again, the last time I went was when Barry Sheene was doing it I do have an A4 size print of him climbing out of the cab.

Well he was a great guy, always put on a good show...

All good and sharp but since you're after some crit...

#1 could almost have been shot with the trucks stood still - no movement visible in the wheels (but at least it's pretty level!)
Unlike #2 which could also have been shot at a standstill. Personally, I'm not a fan of wonky shots and it's that that's a bigger problem for me in this one.
#3 shows some movement - the truck's leaning more than those in #1 and there's some tyre smoke.
#4 has plenty of movement visible in the wheels and background but I never realised that Thruxton had such a steep hill... ;)
#5 is my pick of the bunch. Decent panning, plenty of movement in the wheels, inside front wheel cocked. Pretty much nailed!
