amazing, is there some kind of trick to getting the soft purple and orange tones? thanks

Its partly down to the way the light blends into the dark. All I have done is accentuate it with an ND filter application and a slight saturation boost.

The tailend of dusk, as night creeps in. Taken at 36,000 feet somewhere over central Europe (probably). A client bought this and five other flight-related photographs for their headquarters. It looks rather spectacular printed 40 inches wide!
