B&W Let's see your Black and White photos

Thanks toadstool everyone seems to love it….proper attitude!!!
In a roundabout way ostriches got me into photography.
I always remember being fascinated by a photo my grandad took just as ostrich attacked him and his camera, and remember him showing me the damage(minor) on the camera.

Hi Guys,

Mono is by far my favourite image type.. I do like a nice dark and moody B&W!!

Here's a couple of mine..

Absolutely crackin images, the processing on these I really like.

Thank you Graham :)

I've developed my own style for mono's over the years... Either dark and moody, or open and airy lol

Apologies everyone if this is slightly off the topic.
But what processing techniques and software do you all typically use for your shots?

If I can, I always like to try and do a B&W conversion on most of my images, just to see if they can give any impact, I cheated and used SilverEfex, though I did use my own customised preset.

Apologies for the long time no post.
My Flickr account was closed with no reason given - quite strange.
Anyway - I made a new one, but will not post everything there - waste of time if it is closed again...
