Thanks for that recommendation. I have been looking for a UHS card and didnt realise that there was a UHS class 3!Pay 96p more and get a card that will write (assuming compatible device) at 65mb/s and read 83mb/s:

My experience has been the complete opposite, both CF and SDHC (8, 16, 32 and now 64gb) cards all performed without fault over the course of many years (40D, 50D + Panasonic 1080p video camera use). Occasional health check using "Check Flash" and regular in camera formats more or less every shoot.Not a fan of transcend. I had multi card failures previously and had to send the cards to data recovery companies which cost me a lot more than buying the reputed brand
