Lion PP practice

Cobra has very kindly been giving me advice on how to PP lions http://www.talkphotography.co.uk/threads/noahs-ark-zoo-farm-near-bristol.550388/#post-6363534 . So I thought I'd give it a bit of practice. It's the same lion taken at the same time as the one in the post mentioned above. All are taken through a mash fence using my Canon 60D and Sigma 150-500mm.

I'm still not sure if I have it exactly right but I think (and hope) I'm getting there. This is the same lion from the above post. All helpful crit welcome

This one seems not so sharp around the eyes. I wonder if it's due to the wire.

Getting there Mike
#1 slightly over saturated, but an improvement on the last session
#2 bugger all you can do about this, as you have guess, you have a wire running running across his eyes.
A little dodging and burning will soften the impact.
I couldn't grab the file so had to do screen grab,
Very low quality, but get the idea?
