I like the concept, for me I think I would have preferred it square on to the camera rather than leading off to the left but interesting nonetheless. Well seen too.
It's a nice shot Pete, it's somewhere i drive past quite often and every time i do i want to go and shoot it. It's a shame they no longer have the heritage markets in there because you could get into the building.
Do you know what they're making it into by any chance?
That is the largest brick built building in the whole wide world. It's the former Tobacco Wharehouse. The Urbex boys have been in, though the stories of alarms and police are enough to frighten me off trying. Used to be a nightclub many moons ago and the setup still exists on the upper floors - if you get that far without falling though all the decay. It's part of the whole northern Liverpool waterfront re-development and is being converted into the usual offices/homes and retail complex. Should be super once it's cleaned up.
thanks for your comments, I really appreciate them
as to what is happening with the building, I have no idea
there is so much regeneration going on down at the docks,
as for the angle, I had to take the shot from the roadside hence the funny angle
