Liverpool Docks at Night

All good - a little light polution in one and in three I would have stepped over the railings, the frontage doesn't do much. The reflection is strong enough.

The last is strong. Good contrast.

I might have shot in the blue hour, sort of around 30mins-50mins after sunset to allow better separation of building edges from the sky and more interest to the sky itself.

Also with one, you are straight and level, but not truly perpendicular to the frontage, so it makes the image look skew. I'd ensure with a spirit level your camera is straight, and use the grid to ensure you are flat on to the edge of the the frontage.

Thanks for the comments, I'd already had one ticking off from the security detachment that was circulating about being the wrong side of the railings, so didn't want to chance my luck a second time!! Agree about the blue hour, time constraints meant that I didn't get there until 8pm.
