Just got my flash on Friday so I thought I'd try my hand at low key...

Be as brutal as you like, keep in mind though... The flash was being used directly at the subject without any umbrella (still waiting for them) In my parking spot behind the house, enough to make the pro's cringe

Welcome to a whole new world.

1) Could use more light and you really need to see the iris of the eye or it doesn't look like she has one.

2) That's just underexposed and not a very good pose.

3) Fun shot, but, again, very underexposed.

Keep on trying though.
