Macro +10 Close Up Lens

Couple of years ago I bought a set off Ebay +1,2 5 and 10

I think they were about £20.00 approx.

I found them quite good as a VERY cheap alternative to a decent Macro lens.

You will find that the +10 has very little DOF indeed, and is only suitable for extremely small insects etc.

Thanks for replying. Your spider image looks really great. ;)

I am not that heavily into macro, so can't really justify spending a wad on a lens at the moment and thought that this might give me the option to find out more about macro without the initial outlay.

Thinking about what you said concerning DoF, I have decided on a set of lenses here. Hopefully I will cover all bases.
