They are gorgeous aren't they?
Unfortunately you have focused on its back rather than the head / eye.
I assume that has been shot through the glass viv, with the Gecko quite close to the glass, that will also
give you a blurred effect, and reflections.
When shooting through glass you need to get the lens right up against the glass,
by that I mean the lens hood.
That'll help reduce the front reflection.
Although you still get a back reflection, if the rear is also glass.

I did shoot through glass yes. I seem to struggle getting the entire body in focus. I'll give that a try but he's such a skittish gecko!
I also keep neon day geckos but they're even harder to take a decent snap of. The best I've done so far was on my iPhone…
