for me the second is the better shot, it just feels more balanced. The processing is quite effective, it suits the dog, which is lovely by the way :)
 
Lovely dog. The second shot is my preferred version, the PP also seems more subtle in the 2nd...

Oops oh yeah I was a bit keen! Thank your input, I will definitely take note with regards to the processing..toning down a little :)
