Morning all.

Naomi and I have been taking Maisie to "Water Babies" swimming lessons for a few weeks now and I've been snapping away each week. I thought I'd post a few from yesterday's "swim". Maisie has a great time splashing and chatting away with the other babies and we love watching her enjoy herself. We'd thoroughly recommend it. Great fun.

Cheers.

Love #7! Her expression is prieless. Lovely shots

What a great set of images!

Especially the underwater eyes-open shot #6 and of course the superb #7 & 8. You can't help but smile at #2... at Naomi's expense (y)

Water babies we have to look forward to :)

Edit:
Can I ask what lens? I'm guessing >100mm possibly 200mm and fast, that DoF and sharpness is awsome :woot:

I am surprised they let you in with a camera? Did you not get hassled at all?

Good shots too :)

Maybe they realised that this dad is just one of the 99.99% of normal dads who want to take pictures of their loved ones... it's such a sad state of affairs when this sort of thing is prevented just to cater for the 0.01% of sick ********. I'd like to see them stop me from capturing these moments!

I agree 110%! Just wondered if this was an easy process was all :)

My wife and I take our son to Water Babies and the routine with everyone there is one parent in the water, one on the side with a camera or video camera. No problems, no questions asked. Just as it should be!
They do draw the line at underwater cameras but thats because they arrange a photoshoot with a specialist underwater photographer.

Edit: Nice set of shots (y)

Thanks NickTB, she certainly has a repertoire of faces!

Thanks V8burble. I was using Canon's 135mm f/2.

There were no hassles at all. Other mums and dads (And grand parents) were taking lots of photographs too and no objections were made by anyone.

That's sounds exactly the same as where we go too.

Thanks.

great pictures and so glad to hear the management taking a sensible attitude!

I'm very jealous! These are fabulous photos - I'd love to have done the same when my daughter started swimming (she's 4.5 now and still goes every week) but there's notices everywhere saying no cameras or mobile phones! It's a sad state of affairs isn't it!

Great shots though - and Maisie is adorable!

WoW They are all good but number 7 is a corker...well done

No. 7. Winner.
