Where are you seeing the distortion?
 
The only distortion I see is that which my eye would see when looking up at a tall structure like this. Great shot!

This is how the building looked to my eye, not just the camera. The 3 towers are not in line with each-other, nor are they oblong in shape; there's a curve built into them, perhaps this is what you're seeing?
The 24-105 was at 28mm and I wouldn't expect to get much, if any, distortion, regardless of what angle the camera's at.
