The Lyric Theatre is currently running a show called "Thriller - Live" which tells the story of Michael Jacksons 40 years of pop. After last weeks events it was quoted as saying the show would go on and many fans attending the performance created a small shrine on the doorstep in remembrance to the King of Pop.
Walking home after work i nipped past to see if there was anything happening and this was the result of that split decision. Many a television reporter and camera crew jostling for room, flowers and personal messages, tears and candels mixed with plenty of people holding cameras.
It was a strange experience and i've gone with a B&W processing on these for a reportage feel.
1) The press gallery - (4 image pano)
2) M.J Fan lights a candle
3) Reporter interviewing M.J Fan in Thriller jacket
4) A girl in quiet reflection on M.J's passing
All shot with a Canon 10-22mm so I was very close.
Thanks for looking,
Nathan
