Migrant Hawker Dragonfly in flight..

I took this on 12/09/2014 as there were a good few about hovering then edging forwards a few inches and hovering again which after some perseverance managed to get a shot I was pleased with, although the background Reed is slightly annoying and distracting but can't win them all I guess, the background although looking much like the sky is in fact the water / lilly pads..

Cheers, they are difficult even whilst stationary at times but these were constantly flying round the reeds of a lake then coming very close obviously checking me out and hovering on the spot which they do very well, I reckon they could land on a pinpoint in heavy wind they're are that good, but these particular ones hover for ages giving you ample time to adjust settings if need be..
