A mirrored landscape with added asymmetry

This is a shot of Hay Bluff in the Brecons, copied and flipped.
I added the bird and a gradient to alter the lighting.

Any comments gratefully received

(y) from me too.
Your brain can tell that there's something not quite right with it, but the added asymmetry fools you into not seeing it as a mirror image straight away - it gives it a kind of eerie otherworldly feel.

Really good piece of PP work and I love the end result.
I think you could possibly add a touch more drama with some selective dodging and burning. Maybe bring up the dark areas in the foreground a touch and darken down the shadow areas in the clouds. Just a gentle touch - pushing it too far would lose some of the character for me. But overall . . .

p.s. Welcome aboard.

Your shot is fab plus the link you posted is amazzzzzzing.

great tension between the tree and the bird...keeps the mirror idea in check
