Now that the winds have eased a bit I managed to get out and about to shoot some macro.

Where so you find these creatures? I spent ages on the local park yesterday and didn't see anything.

I go out all over the countryside in search of Macro subjects buddy (y)

Parks are a little too populated by Humans in my opinion - my Damsel fly images are all shot in the middle of nowhere

Good Hunting

All great and to me quite facinating,
macro is something Im just starting to have a go at but the little things just dont stay still long enough for me to catch them.

Wonderful set of macros George, all top notch shots. ;) My favourite is the Mayfly in #2. (y)

Thank you all for the kind words, much appreciated.

All taken with a Canon 500D, Sigma 105mm macro and an old Centon ringflash I bought off ebay recently for £15, it works a treat!

Dini: I go to a local nature reserve, basically an area of land that's just left to grow wild and its a haven for wildlife.

Superb set, like the scorpion fly but the MayFly in #2 has to be my favourite
