Moon experiment

In 2012 I started to fulfil a dream of owning an astronomical telescope and couple that to photography. 10cm Celstron Nexstar linked to Nikon V1 .... I pointed it at the nearest celestial body. More work needed but I was happy.

I had my attempt at using a telescope to take photographs brought to an abrupt halt when I bought the wrong T-Ring for my Nikon so it is a project on hold until I can get the correct one. so its just my 500mm lens at the moment

Thanks... I should continue with this. It gets cold though when the skies are clear. Jupiter has become a passion!

That`s an excellent shot... nice detail and exposure.

I`ve photographed the moon a few times myself and have always dreamed of getting myself a telescope to shoot through as well as just study the night sky in general.

Maybe one day...
