Didn't get much time for photograph this weekend but managed to head out briefly for sunset last night. I have visited this spot before but thought i'd give it another go.

1/6 sec at f/13, iso100. 6D & 17-40L with Lee 0.9 hard grad.

Thanks Jim. It was processed in Lightroom first where I lightened the shadows & darkened the highlights a bit, contrast boost, raised the colour temp a bit, boosted the vibrance & sharpened it a bit. Then in photoshop I did a shadow highlight adjustment. I always shoot in raw so sometimes it takes quite a few tweeks to get the best out of an image.

That is lovely shot. Can't fault it. Where is it?

Like that Tom, I'm a sucker for anything old and with peeling paint and the boat sits nicely in the frame there. Looks nice and crisp too.

Hi, Tom, looks like a cracking place. Compositionally the FG boat lead me to the second boat and then onto the sky, which has some nice detail/clouds.

It's a little too over processed for my tastes, a little too vibrant and warm.

None-the-less I wish it was closer to where I live
